Capo Cipressa 2.0 Short Sleeve Jersey

For years, deciding moments of San Remo have been decided on the Cipressa. And appropriately, the Italians refer to it in the feminine as La Cipressa. So, it's only fitting that Capo bestow its highest-quality jersey with this name. Accordingly, the Cipressa 2.0 Women's Jersey deems itself worthy of its name by being able to push 270km and keep delivering comfort.

For the construction of the Cipressa 2.0 jersey, Capo incorporated a myriad of fabrics, including CarbonE, HSC Lycra, Meryl ActiSystem, and Silver. Starting at the top, CarbonE makes up the bulk of the jersey's construction. Essentially, this material is a warp-knit microfiber with visible Resistex carbon threads. As for the construction technique, itself, a warp-knit material is granted a natural stretch. Within the knit, the threads follow a zig-zag pattern along the length of the jersey. This allows more surface area coverage while using less material, equating directly to an airy, lightweight construction. In addition to this, the open weave also accelerates moisture transfer from the skin to the quick-drying surface of the jersey. This process is furthered through the incorporation of the Resistex carbon threads. And, as a whole, the two fibers work in unison in order to provide you with an effective UV and anti-microbial protection.

Additionally, this material features a four-way stretch that allows a complete freedom of movement. This is furthered through Capo's incorporation of HSC Lycra panels. Located along the sides of the jersey, this fabric grants an omnidirectional stretch, while also benefiting you with its high level of breathability and moisture management properties. Accordingly, you'll also find that its fiber orientation spreads moisture over a broad surface area after it's pulled away from the skin, which results in a heightened level of evaporative cooling. This means that your core temperature is thoroughly regulated, resulting in the conservation of your blood's oxygen cells.

The remaining materials, Silver and Meryl ActiSystem, have been strategically placed on the jersey in order to provide a heightened level of protection. And while, yes, these fabrics provide UV protection and moisture management, their primary focus is combating bacteria. Both materials are anti-bacterial, either by engineering or via natural ability. Accordingly, the threat of odor is eliminated, as is the chafing that's derivative of perspiration.

In terms of fit, Capo designed the Cipressa 2.0 for the race-minded rider. So, you'll find that the jersey is free from any unnecessary seams or fabric. This extends the level of comfort, while concurrently eliminating the potential for chafing and irritation. Additionally, Capo cut and formed the panels of the jersey on a contour in order for it to adapt to the woman's body within the cycling position. It features a full-length front zipper for on-the-fly heat dumps and four rear pockets for storage of your ride essentials.
